 Kedarnath is located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand ,India.. It is famous because of the Kedarnath Temple located over there. It is one  among the chardham . The people who visit there says it's the heaven in earth. Loard Shiva is worshiped there.  Kedarnath Temple is on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini river.  Due to the extreme weather condition the temple is open for only limited period of time from the months of April to  November. During winter the temple is close and the deity of Lord Shiva is carried down to Ukhimath and worshiped there for next six months of winter.Due the heavy snow the temple is closed.
