Rudrapur is a city in Uttarakhand State of India .Most of the industries of Uttarakhand is present in this city. It is located 250 km away from the state capital Dehradun. 

How to reach Rudrapur:

 From Delhi you can get a flight to Dehradun and from there you can travel by  bus. Pantnagar Airport at Pantnagar is also a near by airport to Rudrapur. Rudrapur is well connected by train to major  places of India.

 It is located at a distance of 56 km from Rudrapur in the route of Haldiwani road. Its is the most ancient lord Shiva temple and believed to be already in existence since Pandavas visit. 

3. Giri sarovar:

 It's a heritage site and located around 55km away from Rudrapur. Its the most peaceful place . 

4. Gular Bhoj Dam

 It is located 22 km away from Rudrapur in the route of gularbhoj and Dinespur raod. This place is built to provide irrigation facilities in Udham Singh Nagar district
